Biography
Dr. Rajesh Garg is a Professor of Medicine and Director of Clinical Diabetes at the University of Miami. Dr. Garg graduated from Government Medical College, Patiala in India in 1987. He received his initial training in endocrinology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi and further training at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Before joining U Miami, he was as an Associate Professor of Medicine in the division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Hypertension at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Dr. Garg has completed an immense amount of research work to improve the clinical care of patients with diabetes. He has published more than a hundred articles on issues related to diabetes. He is a nationally recognized expert on diabetes, serves on many national and international professional committees and has been drawing patients from all over the world. He sees patients at the Comprehensive Diabetes Center at Lennar Multispecialty Medical Foundation in Coral Gables and at the Diabetes Research Institute in Miami.
