BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Lagari is Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She is also Associate Program Director of the Endocrinology Fellowship Program. Her clinical and research interests are in the area of metabolic bone diseases, and she has published numerous manuscripts in these areas. She is the recipient of the Young Investigator Award in 2012 from the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. Dr Lagari directs thebone curriculum for fellows, including the bone lecture series, DXA interpretation training and inpatient and outpatient consult service at the Miami VA. In addition Dr Lagari is currently the Section Chief of Endocrinology at the Miami VA Healthcare System.
